Students who want to study for a Master’s or Ph.D. at the University of Brunei Darussalam can apply for a fully financed scholarship. All of the costs involved in earning the degree are covered by the Brunei Scholarship. There is no application fee required.
UBD provides almost every academic discipline and major, including Islamic Studies, Business, Arts, Science, Health Sciences, Asian Studies, Policy Studies, Education, Biodiversity, and Integrated Technologies. All of the expenses associated with pursuing postgraduate degrees are covered by this fellowship.

Financial Benefits
All expenses associated with pursuing postgraduate degree programs at the University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2025–2026 in Brunei will be covered by this full scholarship. More details are provided below:
- Tuition at the University of Brunei Darussalam, including acceptance and registration fees, has been waived.
- A Monthly BND 2,200.00 subsistence subsidy for 36 Months.
- 36 Months of on-campus housing.
- They will receive one round-trip economy class ticket from their home country after receiving the scholarship, and they will receive the same ticket back after completing their studies.
- Allowances for field research (BND 2,000 for candidates in science and BND 1,000 for applicants in the humanities and arts).
Scholarship Duration
- There are three categories into which the University of Brunei divides the scholarship duration:
- Master by Coursework: The study term will be either 12 or 18 months, depending on the curriculum.
- Master by Research: There will be a 24-month full-time study duration.
- Doctor of Philosophy: The minimum study period will be either 36 months of full-time study or 60 months of part-time study, depending on the program.
